In Slick Tricks, you skate through the city, ollie-ing over and grinding along obstacles. As an up and coming skater, the skate scene has it's eye on you, and you'll be evaluated on how slick you skated by the pros on The Underground when you reach the end at the dock.

Please post with your score and time! I'm curious how far people can push it. You can press 'R' for a quick reset at any point before the score screen.

Scoring Tips
There are 5 ranks, corresponding to different final scores:
  1. Slick
  2. Amazing
  3. Brilliant
  4. Cool
  5. Decent
Both bonuses contribute significantly to your score. You get a time bonus for <=70 seconds, and a better one for <=50 seconds. You also get a major bonus for finding and hitting all three sticker spots. Aside from those, it's just about grinding as much as possible and nailing the balance minigame. You can always ollie out of a grind, but otherwise there's a .2s delay after landing, so a general tip is to land early before you need to ollie again.

My top score on the final build was 4487 pts at 44.75 seconds

This is the first time I've made a platformer or a skating game, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It's also the first time I've done significant art for a game, combining drawn player sprites (using Procreate) and other vector assets (using Inkscape). The only pre-made assets I used were for input prompts, fonts and audio (see full credits below). There are a few rough edges in the grinding mechanic, but over all the game seems to work quite well (though I'm sure people will find plenty of bugs I didn't).
