Launch Day
An entry for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1
In Launch Day, you are the last tech yet to be laid off in a launch centre for a private space company. Your job is to keep an eye on your dashboards to make sure the crewed rocket Contender makes it into orbit in one piece.
Launch Day was inspired by minigames in various games, but primarily by the microgame gameplay in Warioware games and Among Us. It was my first attempt at this kind of format, and I am happy with the result even if I wanted more microgames and the microgames to get harder over time.

Post-Submission Bugfixes (initial submission without fixes is available as a separate download):
- Asteroids minigame was not using the collision avoidance properly, sometimes resulting in impossible games, which was fixed
- Main Menu button on results screen was bugged, preventing you from going to the main menu or replaying the game, which was fixed
- Asteroids was sometimes placing all asteroids on top of each other due to a layout glitch, so added a workaround for this as well
